La Dra. Féliz-Camilo nació en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana. Se graduó de la Escuela de Medicina del Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) con honores, magna cum laude, en 1996. En el 2001, ella completó su entrenamiento de residencia en el Hospital Salvador B. Gautier, en otolaryngología, cirugía de cabeza y cuello con rotaciones en el Hospital La Raza, en la Ciudad de México, DF. En 2009, completó su entrenamiento en cirugía endoscópica y microscópica de la oreja en el Hospital 2 de maig, en Barcelona, ??España. En 2013 la Dr. Feliz-Camino completó una rotación en neurología en la escuela de medicinal Miller, en la Universidad de Miami. Desde el 2002 hasta el 2008, la Dra. practicó como otolaringóloga en la Plaza General Hospital de la salud en Santo Domingo. Trabajó como facultad de cabeza y la anatomía del cuello y Otorrinolaringología en INTEC, durante 11 años, así como en la práctica privada: en el Centro de cirugia plastica y Especialidades y al Hospiten Santo Domingo. Miembro de la Sociedad Dominicana de Otorrinolaringología, Cirugía de cabeza y cuello y parte de sus directivas por 4 años juntos. La Dra. Féliz-Camilo es fundadora de la Asociación Dominicana Laringectomees.
Dr. Feliz-Camilo was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She is a graduate of the Medical School of the Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), graduated with honors in 1996, magna cum laude. She did her residency training at Hospital Salvador B. Gautier, in otolaryngolgy, head and neck surgery, graduated in 2001, with rotations at Hospital LA Raza, in Mexico City, DF. In 2009, she completed training in endoscopic and microscopic surgery of the ear at Hospital 2 de maig, at Barcelona, Spain. In 2013 Dr. Feliz-Camino completed a rotation in neurotology at the University of Miami, Miller school of Medicine. She has practiced as an otolaringologist at Hospital general plaza de la salud in Santo Domingo, from 2002 to 2008. Worked as a faculty teaching head and neck anatomy and also otolaringology at INTEC, for 11 years, as well as in private practice: at Centro de cirugia plastica y Especialidades and at Hospiten Santo Domingo. Member of Sociedad Dominicana de otorrinolaringologia, cirugia de cabeza y cuello and part of its directives for 4 years in a row. Dr. Feliz-Camillo is the Founder of the Dominican Laringectomees Association.
Dr. David Brown, PT, DPT, OCS is a Physical Therapist for Select Physical Therapy .
Dr. Brown graduated with Honors from the University of Miami in 1995 with a Bachelor of Health Science degree and then from the University of Miami in 1996 with Honors with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. He then began his clinical career. He graduated with Honors from Regis University in Denver, Colorado with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in May of 2008.
Dr. Brown is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor. He is an Assembly Representative for the Florida Physical Therapy Association, as well as a Multi-site Center Coordinator of Clinical Education (CCCE) for Select Medical Corporation. He places students in appropriate learning environments and assists in their training and mentorship.
He is also a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the APTA -- the sole governing body for Physical Therapists in the United States.
Dr. Brown has presented on various subjects to professional organizations in Pinellas County. Some of the topics include ergonomics in the workplace, injury prevention, safety and wellness in the workplace, and the impact of obesity on rehabilitation.
He has been treating patients in Pinellas County, FL since 1997.
